    Troubleshooting/aptitude test??

Hey folks. I'm a service manager that's been in the business for over 20 years. I remember when I came into the business that I took some tests that check your general troubleshooting skills, just to see if you'd be a good candidate for the job. Obviously the job is quite different these days, but does anyone know where I could get hold of something like that to give to prospective employees that don't have any copier experience? Thanks.

Yeah kinda.....I had looked at those but they're more mathematical equasions than troubleshooting stuff. I'm looking for "this gear turns this way, which way does this other gear turn" kind of stuff.

25 years ago I took the Bennett Mechanical Test. I have a scan of it somewhere. I'll dig when I get home. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
