    OKI MC562 Error Code 134

    Hello Folks,

so i got this piece of crap here next to my computer. Only message in the Display is Fatal Error 134. I changed the led heads from black to Cyan and so, but the error code still persists, cable seems also to be fine.
Is there some Kind of method to reset such error codes?

    greetings

    Scotty

Re: OKI MC562 Error Code 134

This machine will most probably require the main board as sometimes the heads can get knocked and temporarily disconnect. I have had this a few times and replaced many boards (the fuse blows that supplies the heads on the board).

Also, before replacing the board, the values of the faulty board will need to be pulled off with MUWIN and put onto the new board (meter readings and consumable usage).

    Cheers.
Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

Led Head K is not working

        Inspection is required. 131 : Error ~ 134 : Error
        LED head detection error (131=Y, 132=M, 133=C, 134=K)

Install the LED head unit. Check the LED head fuse. Check the fuse. Turn off and on the MFP. Replace the LED head unit.

          Hi Folks,

where can i find the LED fuse? I have searched in the area around the flat ledhead cables on the prcb board.
I think it must be a smd fuse?!

Edit: I have spoken with OKI Support, so they send us a new prcb board.

          greetings

          Scotty

            Problem solved,

The board CLQ-4 was faulty ( the four cables from the LED Heads are going to this board)
Now with a new board the machine is working great.

By the way: Is there a way to edit the title of my thread to "Solved"?

            Greetings

            Scotty

There is no option to indicate that the problem is solved, but it's always good to hear when someone solved the issue. Have you backed up all the data from the old board? Sometimes the board you replace is a repaired board with a different serial number and the counters are also different. After replacing the board you should load the backup onto the new board.

                Hi Eric,

thank you for your advice, i will take a look on monday. I just had changed the sd-Card on the board, nothing else.
By the way, i am no OKI expert.

Greetings and have a nice Weekend,

Remove clp4 board, turn it around, locate picofuse F501 in the upper left corner and place a trace of solder across terminals. We replaced about 25 boards under warranty, and for those out of warranty this is the fix we used. Takes about 1/2 hour.

This has been a problem for awhile. What is the use of having a fuse that is so hard to replace.I will try the solder trace.Hopefully this will work as we have a few of these machines that were not under warranty so it was easier just to replace the whole machine with something that didn't have this problem.
