    [Misc] IRC3380 dropping off network

    Hi all,

I went to a irc3380 last week, it had dropped off the network, all the other customer printers etc are fine, they told me thier IT said the copier is at fault, however I could print fine with my laptop & crossover cable, but reconnecting it back on their network they still can't print or scan, can't even ping it, all the IP etc look fine, nothing has changed.

They called out their IT & they said 100% it is the copier, but again I plugged in my laptop & its prints fine.

Occasionally it will reappear on their network but then drop off.

I have ordered a new LANBAR for the machine, but wondered if you guys have any other suggestions!?

    Many thanks.

Maybe there's a conflict in I.P,.or they have an activated NAC that's why when you put the machine to the network you cannot ping it or see thru the web. Did you try DHCP? Did the machine run a long time ago using the same I.P or new installed?

Machine has been on the same IP for years with out any issues.
I suspect the LANBAR as i've had a few fail in the past

If you replace it, just post if it will be okay. Maybe if we encounter again this issue we will have an idea.

        Good luck!
