in your user guide for full details

    Function
    general settings
scroll through until administrator mode (password: 000)

scroll through until energy save mode change to 1 (invalid)
    press set

    try that

    cheers

        RE Energy Saver Mode

I think yoy may have the machine set up so as its turnes it self off at a certant time and back on at a certant time I would just turn this feature off as I never use it , only the energy save is what I use.

            Energy savr Mode

OK if your M/C has a hard drive diconect it and see if it boots up thats all I can think of, well theres1 other thing, make sure your theres no keys on the keyboard that are stuck down i.e stop button etc.

Sounds to me like you have Firmware or SC pcb problem, as no machine takes 45 min to come to ready and system controller handles machine operations. Flash firmware if that fails replace SC pcb, hope is first option.

I had a DP-1520 that would not boot up, went straight into energy saver and would not come out. Tried firmware update with no luck. It ended up being the SC PCB. You may have the same type of issue.

I have also seen (on the 8060 / 6030 models) where the energy saver key gets stuck. When you go to turn the machine on, since the energy saver key is stuck pressed it goes into emergency firmware recovery mode or something to that extent. Check to see if one of the keys are stuck on the control panel.
