          hello gino,
when you installed new drum you have to go to simulation(F Mode).
To enter simulation (F Mode) press these three keys simultaneously. "User Preset", "Ledger / A3", "3".

To Exit Simulation (F Mode) press two keys simultaneously. "User preset", "Clear/ Stop". if you not use this procedure, the machine will remain in the service mode . shutting power or unplugging the copier will not clear it.

          after installing new drum:
go to F6 mode and press "6" "1" Drum background compensation. Enter "0" after installing new drum (Range is -9 to 38)]

          after installing new developer:
go to F8 mode and press "0" "8" developer callibration. then press "Print", "0" "9" "Print". Machine will cycle for about 2 minutes. when it stops, record the reading. developer callibration is complete.

for exposure setting [copy quality adjustment]:
go to F6 mode and press "1" "1". standard is 62 for 120 volts machine. 224 for 220 volts machines. each increment is .2 to .4 volts. Range is -99 to +99.

if this above all not works. then:

          Exposure adjustment:
go to F6 mode and press "2" "8" and enter value with number keys. use "Reset" key for [-] values or possibly the dark and ligt keys are used; [+] for lighter, [-] for dark. press "ok" key then press "Print" press "Clear/ stop" twice.

apply these and after let me know about copy condition.

          reply to me
