Panasonic C405
Having an very intermittantly problem, that the MFP locks up when faxing. The phone line stays blinking and the LCD is lock up, but still can make copies but not using the LCD display. I need to go power up in service mode and go to F9 to clear all jobs. Already did a parameter initialize and tried to reflashed firmware. But i notice MPF reads SC did not flash firmware or something like that. Tried removing the memory and update firmware but same problem. Anyone had a problem something like that???

did you try flashing firmware with network firmware update tool and a crossover cable? did you flash fax firmware too? it so,you have a defective fax module. Th. -
C-405 fax problems
I had a problem mutch like that on a new C-405. It turns out that the delivery/setup people had put the phone line in connected to the out(jumped) and took out the fax modem. I thinks once you replace your fax modem box....you will be OK. Also ....be aware that I had to wait weeks for a new modem for the C-405(back ordered)
