Seems the MFP automatic did a shipmet reset. All the IP address, e-mail, and so on got lost. Not should what would cause this. The MFP does have a power protector(Tesco) on it. Checked outlet and wiring is good(is grounded). Any help would be much helpful. Thanks.

I would check the leads going into the HVPS, and the main board. I've never heard of a machine shipment setting itself because they do have a little battery that holds information also. Check if your battery is still good, it should be on the left hand side of the front of the machine. -
This happened to me on quite a few panies. Make sure you have the latest firmware and reload it....Check that your tds settings did not reset or you will have to recalibrate your developers...Th.Comment

Ifyour m/c has fax on it then your copier got spiked through the phone lines you need a surge protetor for the phone line as well,
