    panasonic 7722 analog copier U1 code and paper empty flashing!

    Machine is completely down with U1 code displayed. No initialization of scanner, fuser etc. Also paper empty is flashing. Please help.

          The U-1 code is for the front door. Once you figure out why it dosen't think it's closed the machine will cycle and the paper trays will lift.
