Hi everyone! I just received about 100 of these DP-8045's, and 18 of them so far have partial working touch screens. Does anyone know how to do a calibration for this issue? Thanks for your help....

Shut off both power switches. Turn ONLY the front one on. Hold down the Energy Saver and Function keys. Turn the back power ON. Hold down while it boots (30 seconds or so). When a "+" is in the upper left corner, release energy saver and function keys. Touch the "+" in the left edge, then right edge, and center. Cycle the power.
However the touch screens may be separating.............we are just finding this out on multiple models all using the same part. -
We had a rash of these issues last year. If you try the calibration and it beeps when you touch the screen but does not respond, shut off the sub power. If the machine will not power down until the main power is cut, it is 100 percent touch screen replacement. The 3030 has the same touch screen also, but not the same failure issues though.Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!Comment

Mojorolla,
We have an 8035 that has a bad touch screen. Panasonic is backordered till the end of November for new ones. Would the touch screen from a DP-6010 (DZTE000044) work in this unit? Did they change anything when adding the R to the end of the part number?Comment

DZTE000044RA --- R was ROHa compliant--they have added the additional A on the end (not sure why)Comment

Apparently Panasonic has just released a bulletin addressing the touch screen...
