dp-262 replacing imaging unit

when I replace an imaging unit (black) do I need to do anything special? Reset, initialize,etc. and if I need to get into the service mode, how do I get their?

Do you mean black PCU? Wait until light on control panel goes from orange (warning to replace) to red (has to be replaced). Pop a new PCU in it will initialize when door is closed and you are done. Train the customer to do it and life will be much easier.

Thanks, 20gauge! Never worked on one, cust.said they had replaced it, so when I got their they only replaced the toner! so I ordered them one and showed them how to replace it!
