    Panasonic FP7742 w/FA-A888 doc feeder

The document feeder on this one Z-folds between the registration roller and the white belt.

I've cleaned the sensors & rollers. The rollers have tread (& pickup fine). I just found out how to recalibrate the sensors, that's next.

Mostly I suspect the white belt. It's not so white, and a little saggy. Any ideas?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The belt is most likely slipping and causing the z-fold, also check the double feed roller located in the door it has a one way bearing that goes bad and causes all kind of feed issues on this machine, good luck

      Thanks.

Thanks Luther. I doubt that this customer will pay the parts cost, but I wrote the estimate today.

        Thanks!

Well, they took the parts, and it worked. Thanks, Luther!
There was a heavy buildup on the aluminum rollers also. You know, this document feeder looks remarkably like the Sharp SF-A56, or the RADF on the Cougars
