    [CQ] Light Copies

    Panasonic 6030

alright uploaded some pics one is normal but since it is so hard to see i inverted the colors so it would be easier to recognize

but the problem is obviously light CQ but it prints fine, so it has to be optics, i replaced corona wires and grids cleaned all the mirrors and for shits and giggles changed the developer then i realize the prints come out fine

no idea where to go from here everything seems to be working as it should

Did you clean the slit glass inside the machine which sits above the drum an DV unit? Is your exposure lamp coming on? You can test it in service mode.

Did you scan the document from the glass as well as through the document feeder? The copier runs 2 calibration cycles for it's optical scans, one is based on the the white strip on the bottom of the adf, and the other is based on the white strip on the bottom of the exposure glass. Of course you want to check the F6-49, F6-50, and F60-51 settings I find usually -15 to -20 usually is better then default. Finally see where the copier defaults to when you hit reset, best setting is text/photo, of course center setting. If all that fails I would probably try replacing the ccd first, the sc board next.
