    FUSER WEBS

What is the most reliable setting for the 80 series web? 1/10 or 1/20? Would this hold true for other models with a web?

I prefer 1\10, especially on the 8035. On the 2330\3030, I set all of these to 1/10 (short) as the fuser in that model is a real dog.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

Thanks MOJO. These type things are good to know. No need in reinventing the wheel. Love your avatar.

Forgot to ask. Are all Panasonics web counter a count down system?

Did you mean to say, yes they all count down? The reason I ask is the person I go to for phone support told me most count down but not all. He sounded unsure of himself. That is why I ask. I know on the 8060 series when you replace the web, you go to F7-02-08 and set to 240k. Then as you go you can print the F7 and look at the counter for the web and see how much you have left, not how many are on the web. Just wasn't sure about all Panasonics.

My bad, the web counters count down, all other counters count up.

When and If you are going to replace the web, make sure you get the newest version: FFPKM03441B, there was time that the web came w/ less oil on them and cause the web not turning.

This part is for all SFDM models.
