    [CQ] Panasonic DP8025/8032 - Overtoning

New Pansonic installations only lasting 60K on drum and developer which is suppose to last to 120K.

These models are using alot of toner, not getting proper yields or anything close to what it should be.

With the test pattern, there are are little spots and ticks off of the line areas... We did do a developer change which then the F8-09 changes the values, which the ticks are gone, but there is a cost to this which we should not have.

Has anyone set these machines up and how and what are your values ? Toner save mode ??

The developer is rated at 120k, however, the drum is only rated at 60k. Are you using genuine toner, or the 3rd party with the blue cap? If you are using 3rd party, the cheap toner with tear up the charge roller inside the drum unit. You can also check the transfer roll in the door, but chances are its the charge roller.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!
