OEM or third party, they all will leak. I knock down the fuser temp by 5 to 8 points and its seems to help. That being said, some still leak from time to time. I have also noticed some new web are more oily or more dry then others; no uniformity. This is exactly why I save the fuser for last on a PM. That oil on your hands and then it gets on your tools..ugh!

Getting down the temp helps a bit but sometimes i have some leaking bad enough to get to the drum.....Thats with pana webs.Even though ther's too much oil, heat rollers dont last.

Thanks for the advice. It seems to happen more with machines that run a lot of big jobs all at once. Was thinking along those lines with the temp. I'll give that a shot and hopefully it will reduce the problem.

Thanks and yeah, have had a few of them leak that badly. It's such a pain to completely clean out every square inch of the drum and dev units and takes hours. Ugh. And I agree, the heat rollers never last as long as they're supposed to.
