Thanks Marku. I see these plates get bent as well. I have come to believe that toning and fuser issues go hand in hand with the Panasonics. Outside of that, I think they are great. I have bent back, or should I say reform the metal plate that holds the strippers (picker fingers). So far I have been successful. I also found that the mod that moves the strippers from the plate to the fuser exit assembly was in response to the customer not being able to remove jams. So, when you lift up the exit assembly, the strippers go with it and make it easy to remove the jam. The problem is the jam. I believe that if you run the machine where there is less toner in the developer, you will have less jams in the fuser. You just have to find the right balance. Panasonics that run rich in toner seem to jam and cause the fuser parts to fail prematurely. Also, a good lead edge void, as much as your customer will allow, is also key.
