Hi, guys, First time-out on this DP-8016 stand alone copier. Machine has 130,000 copies, service records has one entry at 79k. appears to me it needs drum, blade ,developer.also at this copy count is it better to replace whole fuser assembly or just replace ufr and bushings due to ghosting ,(double-imageing).Would you you say 2 hours for a first time for the whole job? I did print out a F1-03 start and that looked light and lines as well. Thanks in advance. Re: panasonic dp-8016 poor copy quality washed out
drum, cleaning blade and developer should be replaced at 60K.
upper fuser roller is due at 120K.
replace those components and do the dev setup then see how your images look.
also remember to clean the corona unit housings with alcohol, and check the corona blocks for any damage.
I had one of these machines cause all sorts of issues that were related to a corona block having a small crack in it.
the arching was causing all sorts of image quality issues.$hit Happens - Deal with it and move on.....................................sigpic....................................Lock & Load -
