    Re: Panasonic dp1510p damn problem

E4-02 is a paper jam in the fuser. The machine is detecting a jam. Could be sensor, broken actuator, connection issue, or LPC3 board. Usually for me its a broken exit sensor actuator. Why it worked when you replaced the DC controller, I'm not sure. Maybe the 5v for the sensor was missing. Also, I'm not 100% sure but when you get fuser codes, they are reset by going into service mode F9-06>04 (LBP Fuser Reset). Again, not sure on this jam code, but its worth a shot. Maybe when you swapped the board it reset itself. Try putting the original board back on and see if it comes back? Hope this helps.

Don't you have to do a LBP fuser reset for a E4-02 also after you remove the jam.

Look for a cold solder joint on one of your connector pins.
