Where in the world in the 910 page service manual is the adjustment for the touch screen? I've been searching for 15 minutes. The touch is off. Needs to be honed in.

Re: DCP 323 Display adjustment
That procedure takes two people. The energy key and function key are on opposite sides of the keyboard taking two hands. There is no way to hold down the keys and reach the back on/off switch. I had someone help me, however it still did not go into any screen adjustment mode. Are you sure that the procedure is for this model? Where would it be in the service manual? I have that.Comment

Re: DCP 323 Display adjustment
Edit Again: I'm just getting rid of all my incorrect information. I was confusing the service mode keys and the touch panel calibration keys. Sorry.Last edited by User Name; 03-13-2014, 12:58 AM.Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

Re: DCP 323 Display adjustment
I Don't want to disagree, but, here goes. There definitely is a function button on the right and the energy save on the left and "user name" is right as to how to go about it. Turn off both switches, turn on the side switch first, then the back switch, and then you have to be quick and press the function and energy save buttons before the machine has a chance to start up. Just keep holding down those two buttons until the + symbol appears on the top left-hand side of the screen.Comment

its the original size/ledger key that's not on the color models and thats why the copy key is used for entering the service mode.Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

You had me questioning reality yesterday. I was pretty sure that's how it was done but it's been awhile since I've done the screen calibration on one of those so I just figured I was wrong but I had to check just to be sure.

No worries. I didn't mean didn't mean for my response to seem rude or so "in your face" if you know what I mean. I was just really happy that I'm not going senile. LolJust because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
