mpc2500 yellow pcu not working

Hi,

I have one mpc2500 that when i print the test pattern the yellow dont apears... we change already the pcu and the transfer unit and still doing the same but the pcu on other machine works. there is no sc code on loggin data and machines dont give any information.
did someone already have this problem before?

Agreed, happend to me once, the charge cable for the Yellow transfer roller was broken.
Might also be the contact springs to the itb that are bent/broken.
Also check the conections on the high voltage board.

drive gear maybe is broken (there are four, one for eathc color) it happens to me once
and theres no part number you have to change all drive unit

Hi there!
I agree with francisco, when itb-unit is changed then the drive-unit is gone. Had this 2 month ago on the same model, the salesman changed it in a 20er Metis.

check the shutter for the laser unit, the one for the yellow might be stuck close

The shutter is a metal plate wich covers all the lasers at once. If one is stuck all are stuck.

i also had a tech who uses a larger "c" clip to fasten the brass bushing for the developer unit. The clip came off and grounded between the bias terminal and frame.
