    Ricoh DF75 1022/1027 jams

Feeder jams almost every time at registration switch. Anyone have any experience with this? Do the switches ever go bad? Is there a quick fix? Anyone have a part number? TIA

The sensor or actuator may be dirty, dislodged or broken. The photosensor doesn't usually fail.

Found some main boards bad due to not reading proper paper size from the width sensors.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Most likely the registration sensor is just dirty. When you remove the part that covers the sensor with the metal arms either side, the reg sensor looks into a hole on this part. Make sure there is no paper dust or tippex in there.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

clutch and reflective sensors can be cleaned can be checked by input/output sp modes and free run check on peripheral sp, all the suggestions i read were right.
