Dear all,
I'm facing a very bad problem in last few days with RICOH MPC2003 Brand new machine. In this model I frequently facing same Black toner loading problem although there is full bottle of toner. When it's appears first, I changed the problematic toner with new toner but still the problem is same. And its happening again and again, not in one machine, but in maximum machine (6-7) appears same problem. So, the matter of fact is that, is it the problem of black toner or the machine ? I also give force toner and checked all unit but there is no physical problem shown.
So, please help me with this problem, if you know.

I would remove and check over the black sub-hopper, plastic coil and mylar scoop.

This series (including the mpc2011) is plagued by the black supply coil breaking.

The coil runs around a 90 degree corner and the strain is too much for the small contact point that the coil has on the drive section.

It then snaps clean off. This causes the machine to make the right sound when an output check is done (unlike the coils that bind up on the spc430).

We have repaired them, but you also have the option to replace the assembly.

I use fine grit sand paper to roughen the area on the drive side where the auger broke off - this helps the glue to grip the plastic. I then cut the one leg of an ordinary staple, and press it into the middle of the auger (at the end that broke off the drive side). I then (using a sharp tip pliers) force the staple into the middle of the drive side. This helps to hold the auger in place on the drive side. Once it is home, I build up the area with instant glue with glue powder (we buy a product called Q-bond that comes with bonding powder).

It is a bit of work to get the supply unit out, but I have had at least 3 x MPC2011 with the same condition. Once repaired, none of them has called back since.

I had the same issue with the magenta... The toner empty indication was appearing.. The spiral/coil was found broken... But after fixing it with glue, the message of toner empty for magenta is still there... I have rechecked the spiral/coil it found fixed.. And also feeding the toner, but the message is not disappearing ...

I had the same issue with the magenta... The toner empty indication was appearing.. The spiral/coil was found broken... But after fixing it with glue, the message of toner empty for magenta is still there... I have rechecked the spiral/coil it found fixed.. And also feeding the toner, but the message is not disappearing ...

Hi. So did you do a forged toner supply after the repair? Did you check to see that the toner supply toned up? Is there toner in the holder area?

Yeah I checked the toner feeding Assembly, it was working after fixing the spiral and its cavity was full.. But after force feeding of magenta toner toner SC 362-03 appeared... i-e TD sensor output error for (M)
Then after servicing drum unit, this error was removed.
But empty toner magenta is still there. Although magenta toner is over fed.
I checked the remaining toner quantity in bottle of (M) in SP Mode, it was 210 gm, But SP 3101-003 i-e Toner Status: Disp of Magenta was showing value 2 of 10 whereas others were at 10 of 10...

Other toner condition is because of that 2 out of 10. That is a near end condition. How much toner is physically left in the bottle compared to the other bottles?

Right. Physically Magenta bottle is about 75% full... Others are also 70-80% full...

Please also note that; at SP 3102 i-e Toner Remain: Disp
003 i-e Bottle Motor (M) is showing 0

im pretty sure its the toner board in the rear of the machine every color has its own board it has been a very common problem

This is a very common problem check to see if toner is coming out of hopper into dev assy just fit NEW toner hopper assy they are now in the pm listing to replace no point in trying to fix the old one.
