Scan to folder Ricoh

Dear All,

Dose any one should have experience scan folder using Ricoh Dsm725 with Windows 8. As per the Ricoh official, it does not support with win8

Please advice

yes you set up a folder in the FTP app you are using and scan right to it.

Normally we configure with smb protocol for scan to folder

if you want to scan smb will need to update firmware on copier

Ricoh wants to sell new equipment. If you call them about something that requires a firmware update, they will only check the firmware used in production machines. The B205/B209 products were no longer in production when Windows 8/ Server 2012 were released.

I do not know if Ricoh in India releases custom firmware up date. If they do, you need Special/Custom firmware for Network Support Version 5.12.5b_LRC4066 with a release date of March 25, 2013.
