Ricoh 1107 how to print without Fiery

Hi ricoh people,
looking for some advices.

I have couple 1107ex units, but one was Fiery driven.
I don't have fiery, so i'm looking for option how to print without fiery. Is it possible by changing some option or something else?

You will have to remove the giga ethernet port adapter and reset some sp codes back to default. I don't have those in front of me, look in the setup manual for the fiery or wait and see if someone posts the info.

Yes, I have removed ethernet card, that was the first thing I did. Now waiting for someone to tell me which service codes to reset

Remove the Scanner Unit and Install Printer/Scanner Type 1357 and you are done.

The printer firmware is not shown. Remove Scanner SD Card and install Printer/Scanner Kit Type 1357 (SD Card) EDP Code 404196.

Please explain do I have to buy this option, or it's just software upgrade. I'm dealing mostly with xerox, not very familiar with ricoh software upgrades.
Is this explained in service manual? If yes, i will look to buy SM.

It is a kit that can be ordered from Ricoh or search online. EDP Code 404196 is for the US market. I am finding EDP Code 404197 searching online for I believe Europe as the pricing is in Euros. The components of the kit are the SD card containing the firmware, Printer and Scanner key tops, memory upgrade DIMMS. If you already have the key tops, and there is already 384 MB of memory installed on the controller all you need it the SD card. That can be ordered from parts, PN D451 5001 SD-Card: PRN/SCN. You can also search for that. The SD card goes in Slot 1. If there is already an SD card in slot 1, depending on what it is, you may need to merge the two cards in SP mode. If it is a Scanner card, you can just remove it.
