    Mpc4500 document server?

Anyone know how to remotely access documents that are loaded onto the document server?

Web Image Monitor, log on to copier via your web browser. Just enter the IP address and there it is.

Yes we know that part of it , we can see that there's a document there we just cannot download it to the local computer, which is what the client is trying to do

I'm not sure, but I don't think that's possible. I mean the documents on the document server are stored in Ricoh's specific format, so the raw data is of no use to any standard computer program.

Agree, if stored on copier doc server, cannot be accessed from anywhere, only documents scanned to store on doc server. Hope this helps.

Sorry, should have realized that you were an old hand. Tried logging in as admin and see what you can do from there?

If I recall correctly, there is an option called the File Format Converter that is needed to be able to download the contents of the document server. Without that it is a no-go.

Looks like new Mac OS is smb compliant so we can use a folder scan.
