    Mpc3500 Mac prints thick fuzzy

We have a client that started printing to this machine using a Mac in the present comes out kind of fuzzy and bold. Not crisp and sharp like an internal print will do. Any idea why that is?

I have seen the "fuzzyness" happen when a ignorant customer prints text which they "think" is black (origin was an RGB exported image) it turns out that the text printed out process black, plus the text was small and stylized!...this resulted in text that was fuzzy at the edges!...NOT AN ACTUAL FONT!

...and this was at a PRINT SHOP USING MACS!

          DOH!
