    MPC305 Jamming code17

I have a couple of these fantastic machines(not) that are giving intermittent code17 vertical transport jams. One unit is reported as having paper stop before fuser and the other does not feed from the tray and user just opens and closes door to reset jam and it then feeds. I have never been present when a jam occurs so have to go by the operators reports. I have ordered a takeup clutch to fit to the no feed machine on Monday to see if this is a fix but the other one is a mystery to me as sensors are clean as are tyres etc. units have only done 30k from new so not exactly worn out much yet. I am a KonicaMinolta man of 24years and not a fan of these little plastic toys from Ricoh but the company is selling these too now! Just wondered if anyone has any ideas as to the reasons for these jams?

This really works, I've seen a few new, as a temporary measure you can simply peel off the mylar & clean off the remaining sticky stuff.
