    Mpc3500 toner hopper problem

Did you ever see it where you cannot install a toner cartridge into an MPC 3500 ? The cartridge will not slide in the last inch or so. Feels like it's hitting something but we cannot see anything in there that would obstruct it

Old cartridge has left some part inside the hopper. Remove the exit tray to see whats goin on inside

This may seem like a stupid question, but you are sure it is the correct toner?

Reason I ask is that we had it before where the wrong toner was in the wrong box - sealed and all.

The end of the toner bottle (where the chip sits) is a different length depending on the model it is meant for - to stop the customer from using the wrong toner in the wrong machine.

Just to be safe - compare the old bottle with the one you are trying to fit.

+++ on that. Those series of machines use a DIFFERENT type bottle for EVERY newer model. Also, they DO NOT have the model on the bottle itself. The "head" has molded "keys" that are just slightly different as well as the above mentioned "chip"

Skynetto wins! Small piece from previous cartridge lodged inside. Of course client says nothing!
