Several of the original Mita manuals referred to "Deveroper Unit" & "Lump Unit". I never could locate the lump unit. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Could be worse... at least it's not a "rump" unit.

Mita was really bad about their translation in service manuals. You all should have seen the manuals BEFORE they were approved for distribution.I worked with Mita 25 years ago at the corporate technical level proof reading translations. Those guys had me laughing all day. The really funny part was they had no clue why I was laughing. Priceless!!

I think it's the customer dispatched unit that generally disassembles the machine for repair: the engineers having a little too much fun with us.

Years ago at a canon training course we were doing a finisher and in the official notes the finisher had a dildo ( a protruding plastic thingy ). Some time later after repairing a finisher, on the service sheet I wrote "repair and lube dildo". Apparently it raised eyebrows in admin and I was probably placed on a watchout list

In some old analog Lanier copier manuals (the ones in the red folders), some parts of the service adjustment section advised using the service mode adjustments if the copier couldn't cope.
