hi all

the device give error massage and touch screen not responding and i cant make any upadta firmware

i repalce (hdd, touch panel , pcb control board ctL but problem is still now

the question is in which board the soft ware is install ?كورط.jpg

Turn off the auto restart function in service mode. Then the machine will just stop and display the error code. It's in the sp 5xxx's, don't remember right off the exact #....................

perhaps not so intelligent, but it might help: unplug machine from current, remove HDD connectors, put it back on...
???

Perhaps the service code being generated is related to the touch panel. If that is the case and you have a machine with the SOP, the solution is to replace the touch panel.

One more thing to try before replacing an SOP. Turn the power off then unplug from the wall and hold the power button until the power light flashes on then off. This will fully power off the machine and discharge the power supply. When the power is plugged back in the SOP will do a full reboot instead of a quick start.

It's displaying sc870-01 in the bottom of the screen.
like the previous poster said, try booting it up with the Hard drive unplugged. If that gets rid of the error, the problem is your hard drive.

Try replacing the HDD. It doesn't have to be the exact ricoh part, just check which type of HDD it is and replace it with same size/same type HDD.

Typical SC 89x software issue (not displayed but logged in SMC if you look) - usually not relly hardware related but triggered by faulty/corrupted print jobs. Try to keep FW and drivers up to date.
