    mp3500

    i have just changed the drum dev (b079-9640) and blade etc. why is it that when i do developer initialization it starts asking for toner? anyway, got it going again, looked good for a while- then, it suddenly got a very ugly background. (original toner). help.

      Sorry to be the bearer of bad news sir, you've put the wrong developer in it.

      Correct part number is B296 9640. Also make sure you are using type MP4500 toner.

      The Alex-C1 (MP4000/5000) takes the same developer and toner mix too.

          There has been much discussion on the forum about this model and it's poor image quality issues. There is a bulletin for both models which use the B296 9640 developer. Here is a link which has the bulletin posed http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ri...er-mp4000.html. If you did put in the B079 developer, it is the cause of your PCQ.
          the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.
