In factory mode 2914-007 exists on MPC3500/4500. Maybe you could try it before disassembling the whole machine

I guess it only exist if the FW is updated, I have a C3500 and is not there

It's an old machine but runs really good, I was able to disable the shutter with factory sp mode (missing link secret 143), working just fine so far.
