    Nashuatec 7505 not printing

    Hi,

    I have one Nashuatec 7505 that is not printing.
    When touch printer or scanner button on user panel it only beeps, cant enter.
    I'm able to ping and enter via web into machine.
    So I suspected that Printer/scanner kit type 1075 is not working. After getting other one and installing, machine is still in the same condition. Not printing.
    Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

    Check that you have the optional 128MB or 256MB memory install in CN301 in additional to the base 128MB in slot CN300. Check that the Printer/Scanner or Printer DIM is installed in option Slot 1, CN302, and not Slot 2, CN303, which is for the Postscript option. HDD must be installed and functioning. NIB need to be installed on CN311 (NIB). Centronics connector connects to CN310, mislabeled CN311 (Centronics I/F on image). Check that SP 5811 and SP 5907 are set correctly. Check SP 5828-065 and 069.

      everything is on it's place.

      Could you explain SP 5828-065 and 069?
      I don't have these in my manual.

        065 turns job spooling on/off
        069 turns on and off job spooling for network protocols. It is a bit switch. Bit 0 is for LPR and bit 2 is for IPP.

          This machine is far away from me, and my customer made card change.
          He told me that this Printer scanner card was in slot 2 CN303 in the time the machine was working. Is it possible?
          When he insert card in slot 1 CN302 machine gives error 828.

            I am not sure if it will work in slot 2.

            From Goose's Guide:
            [SC828] - pins on D I M M bent
            [SC828] - replace printer/scanner dimm

            My guess is that the controller board is bad, assuming that other DIMM work in another machine. Either that ir both DIMM are bad.

                    when you press the user tools button, in the next screen you have System settings top left, then copier features in the center, do you have printer features below that, and then scanner features below that?

                        I was busy these days, so I couldn't find time to go to this customer.
                        Will visit him next week, ant try to reload firmware.
