    Ricoh MPC 5000

    Hello, Can some one tell me how to reset SC863 code on MPC 5000 or send me the docs tech for this model.

    Remove the HDD and format it with a USB caddy.
    It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Tap the yellow key, 107 then press and hold the red stop key. Press system SP. Type in the SP number and press #. Then press execute. If it fails you will need the service manual for instructions on how to pull the drive and as mentioned format it with a USB SATA caddy.

              It may throw the code again. Machine formats with SC86x codes rarely fix the drive properly.

                SP 5832-001 does not actually format the disk. It merely erases the directory tables and recreates them.
