There was some special firmware released in 2013 that made the machine SMB scannable to windows 8 and server 2012, which will probably work scanning to win 10. If you are having scanning issues, you need to find that firmware. As far as printing, the Ricoh driver download site has a windows 10 selection that links to the most recent version of the universal print driver.

Yes it does. If has to be specifically requested from your Ricoh support team. If you are not a Ricoh authorized dealer, you may need to contact your nearest authorized dealer. What you need is Network Support firmware Version 5.20.Custom B2385605L_LRC0451.

I looked at the .rar file from Mega ad it does not appear to contain the Network Support firmware needed to send to Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2. What is needed is Network Support firmware version 5.20.1 B2385605L. It can be downloaded from your Ricoh support site. Again, if you are not an authorized dealer, they most likely will no provide it to you.

As for print drivers, I try to avoid the universal print driver unless I have multiple similar models of machines that I need to pool.

The important thing here is "aged equipment". This is the same product group as the C2000. Ricoh discontinued assured parts availability 3 years ago. That includes new firmware.

Hello, good morning, sorry to bother. I need to update the firmware of a ricoh mpc2500 to be able to scan the servers that have changed in the company. I am waiting to change the copier for another new equipment, but for now, I have to do this so that they can continue scanning.
