    MP C6501 (aka duster producer)

Downloaded today from Ricoh Portal a new Engine firmware [Version] 1.11:06 with these modifications:
    [Modifications made:]
    Symptom corrected:
    - Toner scattering from the development unit.
    - Image density is low.
NOTE: SP setting is required for this firmware to take effect.
    See RTB RD081049f for detail.
Does anybody have the RTB they are talking about?

    Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen that bulletin before, but the adjustments look similar to those I have been making for years.

One other thing that I have found is that when then drum lube bars get warn down too far, waste toner will start to stack up between the cleaning blade and spreader blade causing color streaks and background. Cleaning will giver you about a week to get new lube bars, apply brush, and blades.
