Df3010 adjust?

Client complains that the df3010 on an mpc4500 is not scanning page size correctly. Is there an adjustment we can do?

Can you post a sample of what is happening? We need a little more detail than what you are supplying.

Client scans letter size and it asks for 11 x 15. Not even standard size

Most common problem is dust on the size sensors located on the original tray (3 "holes") running across the right side of it. I was in the habit of cleaning them off every call.

Worse case is a loose connection under the tray to those same sensors. cover on back side can be removed to check.

Another frequent problem that I encounter is that the user has placed something on the feed table that is covering the length sensor(s). Also check for a bad sensor or a loose connection on the sensor wiring.
