    MPC5000 vs. MPC5501 fuser

Anyone know if the MPC5000 fuser can swap into an MPC5501?

    Thanks!

That I know of no, they use different rollers all together, not sure why you would want to anyway to be honost my C5501 ones out last the C5000 any day of the week, and really arent that bad to just rebuild in comparison.

Just asked this question last week. The fusers are close but not the same. The 01 has an extra thermistor and the bottom plate has a guide which is different. The parts from the 4000/5000 fuser maintenance kit fit into the 4501/5501 but the yields are lower. I used the 4000/5000 (PMD029240K) kit to rebuild a 4501 fuser and it works fine.
