    [Misc] MPC306ZSPF

    Hi Guys

    A Customer is facing a strange Error with this machine. IF he wants to print a Document with 3 PAges only the first one is coming out. I checked the Firmwares coming out at the moment or in April but i didn`t found anything that would fix this error. I also was not able to reproduce the Error on one of our MPC306ZSPF.

    Someone a idea what this could be ?

    I thought the same thing but i didn`t had the chance to check it. I will check that out with the Customer.

      check the job history on web interface so see if it gives you an error as to why it happens

        Good idea thanks for it. Will do that as soon i get on the User Machine to have a look at the Webinterface.

          Install a new direct print queue with the correct driver, and see if it does the same.

          If it does it with one file, try a different application, or try an older models RPCS or PCL5c driver.

            Hi Guys

            I tried anything you said in here but the Problem still is there.

            I the Job history there is nothing shown that would make sense. NO Errormessage at all. Also trying with older Printerdrivers didn`t helped to solve the Problem. All Pages are black and white there is no colour Pages.

            To be honest i don`t know anymore what i could do

              Hook your laptop up directly to the machine, install the 306 with the latest pcl6 driver & see what results you get, rule out their network.

                We replaced an MPC300 with an MPC306ZSP a few weeks back.. They were having the same issues and they were still using the old driver as their I.T. dep't couldn't be arsed to update it. As the other guys have already said..... Driver.

                  Sometimes the same problem on the METIS-range. Tech-program, PRINTER, SP 1001-5, bit-sw 5, bit 1 set to 1

                    Hi Guys

                    I would love to rule out the Network but those Noobs are not even capable to open the port to get a Connection going with teamviewer. They assured me that they are using the latest Version of The Driver. But i couldn`t check it myself because of the teamviewer issue. Another thing is that they are using different Operating systems. So the "Latest" from their point of view could be the latest for one OS but not for the one next to the first.
