    Lanier LD425B (aficio MP2550) with J001 message which I don't find in manual

    custromer called yesterday with J001 message. I looked in operator and SM and don't see this and would be very grateful fioe some assistance before going. I will cklean out sensors in adf etc and check for small pieces of paper after questioning customer when I get there. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

      J001 is a jam found at power on or when a door is closed. If it occurs during operation, it is usually a door switch. If the machine has a finisher, not the internal, replace the cover switches in the bridge unit, common problem for years.

              When I got to customer's office the displayed actually mentioned doc feeder jam. None there but after cleaning oyt sensor and rollers all is good. Thanks much. Frank
