    [Error Code] MP301

Whenever I try to scan to my email, I receive an error message on the screen that says "The error only happens on multi-page documents (usually over 3 pages) with color. It works perfectly fine when I scan just black/white docs.
After googling this issue, the only resolution step says to 'allocate sufficient space' but does not clarify which device to do so.

I have cleaned up disk space on the end user's PC, as well as the SMTP server. Issue persists...

Can someone please rectify this issue for me?

    Thanks

I may be mistaken but, I think the HDD comes as an option for this model.

You can try to reduce the resolution and make sure compression is on.

          Agree.
Definitely Turn on/ increase Compression settings in User tools/ Scanner/ send settings.
Just duplicated this issue myself by turning off compression
My 3 full colour pages went from 2Mb, to "Transmission failed..."

Yes that is correct HDD is an option on this model, if you don't have the HDD option machine uses the flash memory which is too small for colour pdf files.

            I'd suggest using SMB
