Ricoh MP9002 Sc144 error

Dear All,

I have mp9002sp when we switch on or active from energy saving position it occurs sc144-00 and after turn off and on the machine on 2 to 3 times machine becomes ready but often generates sc144-00 again during job.
I re punched connectors of IPU board CCD Unit SBU board and after that machine becomes OK for some time but now again sc144-00 occurs I re punched connector but problem still remains.

I replace sbu assembly but issue still remains
When start machine no initial lamp movement. this problem becomes still now.
Plz guide me I am really thankful to you

Now I replace sbu harness but issue still there machine generates sc144.

There are no bulletins on the issue but this may help.

SC144
SBU transmission error

• After the SBU switches on, the BCU detects one of the following conditions on the SBU:
• 1 s after power on, the SYDO signal does not go high, even after 1 retry.
• 1 s after power on, the SYDO signal goes high, but the SBU ID could not be read after 3 attempts.
• SBU defective
• SIOB defective
• BCU defective
• Harness between the SBU - SIOB is disconnected
• Harness between the SIOB - BCU is disconnected
• Harness between the SIOB - PSU is disconnected

Also, check and update the firmware, solves a lot of issues.

Dear I replaced sbu I replaced harness and check connectivity of harnesses by multi meter, I add one more thing that sc144 is not still. Machine generates sc144 occasionally sometimes machine works perfectly whole day and sc144 occurs in evening.

If you replace the assembly already and both harnesses i would check the PCB-SIOB, firmware history does not show any fixes correcting sc144s but it wouldnt hurt to update that as well.
