        NCS
        9/8/2015
        D086-D087_NCS_v10.63_LRC0770_remote.zip
Ricoh devices use 512bit Diffie-Hellmann key length in the 'pre-secure' handshaking, where recent security updates has seen this minimum requirement go up to 768bit or 1024bit.
It's the NCS frimwar you need, correct???

The newest network firmware is 10.63 which includes the fix for Windows 8 and Server 2012. I would update to newest version that should fix your issue for Server 2008.

It is always best to keep all machines up to date on firmware. I keep firmware on my laptop and update it for primary models in my territory about every 2 to 3 weeks, if there have been changes. I can then update machines when on a service call.

And THAT, Slimslob, is why you make the big dollars!! It's because you are a complete tech. I'll bet your paperwork is always right and you get meters for billing. So
many techs think it's just fixing equipment.

Are you trying to scan to Windows 8/Server 2012 R2 or are you trying to scan to Server 2008 R2. If it is Server 2008 R2, you have something not set properly or are being block by a firewall. SMB for Windows 7/Server 2008 R2 requires the use of a valid user name and password on the computer/server you are scanning to. The name must have full access to path you are scanning to.

Man I wish I was making big bucks. With the way the oil industry is going here around Bakersfield, we are losing a number of customers because they are closing. If it wasn't for the fact that we have a number of schools, my boss would be hard pressed to stay in business. Just yesterday we picked up four MP C6502s and a MP C4503 from a Ricoh direct customer that we were servicing who is closing their local operation which represents a drop in monthly revenue.

If the machine is using @remote, looking at it with the ARMS tool is a quick and easy way to see what firmware is out of date, if you're not using the ARMS tool, you're missing out.

The machine came out long after server 2008, so it would have been compatible right out of the box. If it's not working, It's not because of firmware
