Aficio SP 4410SF, entering SP mode?

I have asked this question before on this forum but never got the correct answer. How do I enter service mode to look at jam counters, reset drum after installing a new one, etc. I have looked in manual a few times and did not see it, unless I missed it. Even if someone could post the page it is on in the serv man.

    Thanks

I found this for a similar machine. Try clear/stop 1 0 7 then hold start for about five seconds. I'd check TSRC but it seems to be having issues today.

Don't think clear stop 107 is for this model. From a google search I see something about holding arrows or something like that but procedure wasn't real clear.

If you could check that would be great.

      Thanks

You might try the method for the SP 3410SF.
To access Maintenance Mode do the following:
        􀂃 Type the following keys, in sequence: [Clear/Stop] > [1] > [0] > [7]
􀂃 Hold down the [Start Key] until the Maintenance Mode screen is displayed.
Note: This should take about 3 seconds.

iirc power it on while holding in the 2 and 6 for maintenance mode or power it on holding in the 3 and 6 for config mode. config and maint might be flipped...

That's the Lexmark procedure. Then again I don't work on any Ricoh that new, so that machine could be a rebadged Lexmark, I don't know. The model translation list I use doesn't say so, though. Of course the last time that list was updated was 2014.

Try pressing the up and down arrows together and hold for 5 seconds, press "enter"

This would be accurate for Ricoh printers that do not have a numeric keypad. The SP 4410 like its predecessor the SP 3410 are considered by Ricoh to be MFPs not printers and they have numeric keypads. If the sequence for the SP 3410 does not work, change the numeric portion to that used by the XX03 color models.

Looking at a pic of this model its a lexmark with a ricoh emblem it is different then the 3410sf. I know powering off and holding down 2 & 6 on the keypad and turn machine on, continue to hold 2 & 6 until the loading is complete and you will see the configuration options. I know this includes resetting the maintainence counter not sure if there is a printable error log i have never needed to print one on these models, when they jam its usually dust in the sensors of the tray feed or the rollers, or you have a trashed fuser/pcu unit. The cost to get a fuser and labor involved in replacing it on these is about worth just getting another machine, I think the fusers run about 100 bucks less then the whole machine itself and its a pain to take apart and replace it.

                    UPDATE

Just so no one else has to go through what I did trying to get this answer I wanted to follow up. Entering the service mode is same procedure as Lexmark model. You hold down buttons while turning on main power in rear, 2&6 for config mode and 3&6 for maint mode.

Thanks for everyone that had suggestions and special thanks to mikedci & Counsel for the correct procedure to enter service modes.
