    Ricoh MP3500 keeps printing....

Going out to look at machine tomorrow but this is what the customer told me: Whenever they send a print job it keeps printing the same thing and will not stop until they turn machine off and then back on. It is ok until you send another print job. Sounds to me like a setting in the print driver?

Copying is fine with no issue.

Anyone ever see something like this?

    Thanks in advance

yep, they're using the wrong print driver for that model.

Agreed (It's something silly like that).

Sounds like a call I went to the other day - although I doubt it is
      Funny story:
It's a machine with only a single user connected.
When I couldn't duplicate the problem, I asked her to show me the exact document, and how she printed it.
Turns out, it was a several hundred page doc that she only wanted page 1-4, but rather than selecting pages 1-4, she selected 4 copies!
Even though she did this right in front of my eyes, she still denied that was what she'd done earlier - apparently several times before calling for service
Funny..... the issue hasn't returned .

Something along the same lines, little girlie claimed she asked for 50 sets and it printed out 60. She knew it printed out too many as when she put a set on each chair in the meeting room she had 10 sets left over. Never occurred to her to count the number of chairs.
That was in the benevolent past, in these harsh economic times I'd be writing her a bill for an unnecessary call out.
