    MPC4500 color streaks only

MPC4500 color streaking like on sample. (actually looks worse than sample but scan didn't pick up all the lines)
Counter page in b&w is perfect.
Doesnt look like any residual toner on transfer belt.
    has 74,000 color and 111,000 b&w prints
    using oem toner.
    color drums bad?

replace the ITB cleaning unit, more likely the cleaning unit then all 3 drums at the same time, plus your PCUs for color are 6k under yield and your ITB cleaning unit is 25k over yield, now ITB cleaning units on that one do usually run over 200k its not unlikely to be bad by this time.

I would start there that is usually the cause of getting that type of color smearing. I would clean your ID sensors while your at it they are probably dirty by now if your getting that effect.

EDIT** making an edit, at second look if thats LEF from tray one the direction of the marks looks front to rear not lead to trail, cleaning unit usually does that but in a lead to trail effect, side to side like that is probably the PCU cleaning blades mainly cyan and magenta.

IMO you are close enough to PMs to do the ITB cleaning unit and all 3 color PCUs anyway if you want to keep it running good.

This is probably stupid, but is the machine running on OEM color toner?
I have seen aftermarket toner cause something like this. Look for color toner build up on the fusing belt and pressure roller to be sure.

While your colour drums are theoretically under yield, the units are 10 years old.
A good cleaning of the PCR's and foam rollers will help to a degree.
If they are the black type PCR, turtle wax, or any car wax is the best thing I've found to bring them back like new. If they are the "Greenish" style then I scrub that coating off down to the bare nylon roller
But I think you also have some cleaning blade issues....If you were to disassemble the PCU's, you'd find very yellow and brittle cleaning blades due to their age.
I have a local supplier that actually sells replacement blades and they've worked surprisingly well, but being that close to Yield anyway, I'd suggest it's best just to replace the PCU's (or the machine)

yes that is what I was thinking even though the count is slightly under, the age could be a factor.

as far as the other questions: it was from tray #1 and they are using oem toner.
also the streaks do run the whole length of the page, they were just not picked up when I scanned the sample.

if it was the ITB cleaning unit, would I be able to see the residual on the transfer belt, or not necessarily?

I took a picture of the sample which might be a more accurate representation of how it looks.

At that age, the foam surface of the charge cleaning roller is most likely starting to deteriorate.

You can rule out the ITB simply by stopping the machine dead, look at the ITB are the marks on the ITB? if no i'd look at fuser.

Also if the marks are on the ITB, remove & clean the ITB cleaning unit blade, this may give a temporary fix then you know its the ITB cleaning unit.

Since the yellow isn't streaking you can swap the yellow with the other colors to see if those colors stop streaking to isolate drums. You might need to modify the plug in back of drum unit to do so.

Looks like the lube bar is wearing and getting on charge rollers from your pictures. You can take the charge rollers out and clean them in a pinch.

                  Good Luck

Magenta and cyan pcu's are worn. Looks like charge roller marks. At you present counter, just go ahead and replace all the color pcu's.
