[Error Code] mpc 3002 - address book

Hi Everyone!
I have a problem on a MPC 3002. It's not possible to view the address book anymore, and a message like
"impossible to uptade the destinations list..." is displayed.
What could it be? The HDD?
I thought to format the hdd, and to re-input the address book, could it help?

Yes sounds like the HDD is failing or has failed completely. If it has failed you can use any 2.5" SATA

Back up the address book via the web monitor (if it will allow you) then format the HDD reboot then copy back your address book.
