[Misc] Cleaning Web spooled out MP 7502

I experienced a fuser cleaning web that spooled out faster than it took up, eventually feeding through the fuser and tearing. I had to replace the web idle gear that was stripped. I noticed the mechanism still wasn't working correctly and found out the 23Z oil supply roller gear was installed backwards. see attachment. hope this helps somebody!

The Canon iR550, iR5000 both did this occasionally. The web advance gears would crumble under the relentless heat of the fuser. When 3 consecutive teeth skipped, it would start wrapping the web onto the heat roller. I've seen it wrapped to 13mm thick on the heat roller.

You won't need any skin moisturizer for a while. With all that fuser oil absorbed into your skin, you'll be dropping your screwdriver for days.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
