    MPC4502 Password Reset

    Hi All,

Just took over service on an MPC4502 and users have no clue what the password was changed to. Supervisor does not work from panel or WIM. I seem to remember there was something in SP mode, maybe mem clear, that allowed it to go back to default. Can't seem to remember and don't see it in GG that I have.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    K

There is no such SP code as 5 846 046 in this unit.

Also, when you hit the login/logout button on control panel, nothing happens.

Yep, thanks. Must login using Yellow 143 clear clear and hold down clear 2nd time to get it to make it to the SP 5 846 046 mode. I was able to set it back then.

Still odd thing though that the Login/Logout button does nothing.

        Thanks all!

For the ;og in button to work, you need to turn on admin authentication.
          user tools/system settings/ admin tools/ administrator authentication
