Ricoh MP 7001 Scan destinations "Repeat"

Have a client who has a Ricoh MP 7001 and a MP 5500. When using the scan to folder destination on the 7001, after scanning the destination resets. And if scanning many separate files to the same destination, it becomes a hassle to re-enter the destination every time. Whereas on their 5500 ( and all other ricoh's I know of) after scanning to a destination the key maintains ( on) until the scanner function resets. This makes back to back scanning much easier. I have updated with the latest fw, the "key repeat" function does not effect this feature. All the 7001's operate this way, just wondering if there is someway to "hold" the destination until it times out.

I can't argue with you there.
I don't know a damn thing about them. That's why I have hardwood floors.
But last time i checked, the site was called copytechnet, not vacutechnet.
